Clean energy is actually fairly cheap and cost effective here's a few estimated facts I gathered myself on it (of course, it will depend on the location of your house and local weather): the average home uses 50Kwatts a day, 2083 watts an hour. To power a home, it would cost around $3000-$5000 through wind energy. Solar energy could power the home for $11,500. It sounds a lot, but factor in that solar panels typically last 30 years or so, therefore the average home would spend $383 a year on solar, or $32 a month on solar. $1.50 a day can power an entire home on solar. $14 can power a home on wind for a month. $0.60 a day can power an entire home on wind. As you can see from just these small facts, clean energy is great. I don't see any reason to use dirty energy such as non clean coal and oil. |

I never use domestic contractors to work on my roof at home. This is because I use my commercial roofing contractor who works at my business premises every year. I have a green roof at my business complex and that is why I use this particular commercial roofing contractor every year. He does the maintenance of the roof and since we have a good working relationship, he agreed to handle my house roof which was a mess. Before I saw the brilliant work he was doing, I had hired a very incompetent domestic roofing contractor who used to get on my nerves all the time. The first time he did a roof installation in my home he made a very grave mistake in one of the installations and this caused the roof to start caving in at one side. I did not notice it until it started cracking and whenever it snowed I would see water marks on the wall. They assumed the shapes of the dripping water. My contractor had to replace half of the roof to prevent further damage. |

The best thing about not being at the beach is not being around people, and sometimes it’s worthwhile to not be around people to help one enjoy the beach. So it’s worthwhile bringing a sandbox to a secluded part of the river to create as much of a beach as possible all by myself. It’s not that I dislike people. It’s just that I want to be a little more intimate with the sun than our society currently deems appropriate. (I so dislike tan lines.) Unfortunately, I’m not strong enough to carry a sandbox large enough to hold enough sand for me to sunbathe in. I usually have to make do with just a towel and maybe some gingham fabric cloth to have a picnic too. I’m always on the hunt for new secluded areas. Perhaps there are beaches out there that the public is not aware of. Unfortunately, society finds all the good beaches first, and then tells you that you can’t use the beaches if you want to tan your entire body. Beaches are nature’s gift to us. Why aren’t we allowed to be natural on them? Yet one more joy of summer ruined by society! |

The dirtiest and most disorganized part of the house would have to be the garage. This is where almost all of the discarded and unusable items end up in and almost all of them are cluttered all over the place. This becomes a big problem after a few years since you will notice that there are already a lot of items in here. Most of which are hardly used but we can’t just throw them away since there are times when we do need to use them. Another problem is that since there are plenty of items here, it is so difficult to actually find the item we are looking for.

If I would be given a chance and I have ample budget, I would like to get the wooden flooring and wooden work done at my home. I'm not too skilled - I can barely put up one of those instant awnings - so I'd definitely need some hired help.
I would like to add wooden wardrobes to my bed rooms and kitchen. Wooden wardrobes have to be adjacent with the colour combination of the walls and flooring. Wooden flooring will be done in the master bedroom. It would help in making the necessary partitions and even foldable partitions to the wardrobes so that we can best utilize the space. Wooden work has lots of advantages in itself like it is near to nature. Wooden furniture is appropriate for both indoors and outdoors. There are plenty of designs available to choose. It is also not difficult to maintain the wooden furniture. We have to keep some points in mind while maintaining the wood like wood is sensitive to water so we have to ensure that it should be properly protected with varnishing. If we clean our furniture daily it stays for a long time. |
