Surge protector is the first line of defense for your running appliances. There are times that we will experience a sudden power surges. A power surge is a sudden gust of high voltage of electricity that will damage the sensitive parts of our appliances. Every country has its own standard of voltages, some has 120, others 110 and there are others who have 220 volts the standard voltages needed should be maintained as not to damage the running appliances when power surge arises.
With the hard earned money spent for acquiring these appliances it is just necessary to protect them all. The best way to ensure that not a single appliance inside the house unprotected by power surge, have a power surge protector it install at the breaker box. There are two kinds of power surge protector the internal and the external. The internal is the one that is being installed ate the breaker box this protector will protect the whole house if there is a direct blast of lightning. The External surge prevention on the other hand protects the sensitive appliances like the computer or the component if the power surge will come from the inside of the house example the sudden rise of refrigerator and electric stove voltages.
